Here are some tips to make a happier, healthier you.
1. Get enough sleep – at least 7 hours will help you fell refreshed. If you don't get enough sleep you may feel tired or even depressed.
2. Eat together – eat with your family and friends ca help you relate to others and m,ake you feel good.
3. Catch the happy bug – being around positive people can improve your mindset and put you in a good mood and give you hope!
4. Let the sunshine in – sunshine increases your levels of vitamin D and helps fight depression. The sunshine lets you know you are alive!
5. Breathe easy – take a deep breath and exhale slowly. Breathing lowers stress and clears your mind.
6. Move more – just a little exercise a day makes a big difference as it keeps muscles toned and gives you more energy.
7. Offer more praise – Shift your focus from your own problems to what is going on around you and be generous with your appreciation of others as it will make you feel better.
8. Have a laugh – it really makes you feel better. It reduces your blood pressure and boosts endorphins (feel good hormones).
9. Go nuts – snacking on a few almonds, pistachios or walnuts can boost your energy. Nuts stimulate your blood flow, allow nutrients to move quickly to your muscles.
