After the Job Interview
Friday, May 30, 2014Today on Lets Get Working I would like to discuss what happens at the conclusion of the Interview as well as after the interview.
More often then not you will be asked if YOU have any questions?
It’s important that you have at least one question! A safe one would be: When will I hear back from you regarding whether I got the job?
One question never to ask is: How much money will I earn, even though I must confess, I have made that error at least once.
After the interview its good to think about how you went in your interview, what things you did well, areas you have improved in, since your last interview and areas you still need to improve in.
In the next day or two after the interview write a thank you note, you can email, if you have an email address or post if you don’t.
Keep looking for a job and keep attending job interviews.
Ideally you will have 2 or more jobs to choose from and you can pick the one you like best.
In summary,
Have questions you want answered at the job interviewSend a thank you for the interview opportunity, Keep looking for jobsYou may get to pick from many jobsUntil next time,
Enjoy the journey!
