Attention Grabbing Resumes!

1. Stay focused and to the point
What you do and the position you are interested in.Write a professional summary of your career focus – include your profession, how long you have done it for and your area of expertise.“Retail manager with 5 year expertise in team management, team training, process improvement and increased sales quotas year after year.”2. Use lots of key words
Use as many key word as found in job posting under responsibilities and qualifications.3. Lots of white space keeps your resume reader friendly.
Your font needs to be 11 point or greater.Use bullet point instead of paragraphs.Get to the point – fast. 4. Add loads of accomplishments
How have you solved universal problems such as saving time, cutting costs, increased productivity and satisfaction.Your accomplishments need to be separate from your responsibilities.Accomplishments need to match up with the job you are applying for.5. Put all your best information on the first page
Write a summary page of highlights if your resume is more than one page. Add your accomplishments to this page.Until next time,
