Goal Setting for 2013
Friday, January 11, 2013Today in Lets Get Working, I would like to talk to you about goal setting.
Firstly I would like you to get a piece of paper and write down 25 things you have accomplished in 2012. They can be big things like, you’ve finished a course or something small, like keeping your room tidy.
This task will make you feel good about yourself and help you to look forwards and set some realistic goals for 2013.
Then I want you to write down some realistic goals under the following categories:
Health & Fitness – I am 5kgs lighter and I drink 8 glasses of water a day,
Relationships – I communicate well with my family/partner and I enjoy spending quality time with them getting to know them. I have friendships that respect me and help me grow.
Personal Development – I now know how to use the computer better and I have better telephone skills.
Job & Career – I am working in the job of my choice and I love what I do
Finances – I am free of debt and able to save a portion of my income a week.
Wellbeing & Emotional Life – I am kind to myself, love myself and respect myself, say nice things to myself.
Leisure – I do something fun every fortnight.
Once you have written your goals, write 1 step you are going to take to move towards your goal.
Until next time,
Enjoy the journey!
Martha!
