Healthy Body = Healthy Mind
Friday, December 21, 2012Today I would like to talk to you about staying healthy while looking for a job.There are a few key principles that we all can do. They are:
1. Drink water water can help keep you hydrated and not need so many snack. When we are bored we tend to eat, so going for a drink of water instead of a snack can be beneficial. Water is also better for you than a caffeine hit!
2. Get some sun a lot of us are lacking vitamin D and so it is good to spend ½ an hour in the sun. This helps improve not only our physical health but also our mental health. Make sure you slip, slop, slap before you go out in the sun though.
3. Eat as healthy as you can more fruits and veggies in our diet helps our body get rid of toxins. Fruits and veggies are healthy snacks that give us more energy than cakes or junk food which give us a sugar hit than a dive in our energy.
4. Exercise if you can do any form of exercise like a slow walk or (as I do, a crawl around the inside of my house) its good for your health. This gets the body moving and our energy flowing.
5. Sleep well - a good 6-8 hour sleep is good for your body and mind
