Improved Job Search Productivity (Part 2)
Friday, February 14, 2014Today on Lets Get Working I would like to talk about five more ways to improve your productivity while looking for work.
1. Make sure your Email is Organise - have separate folders for emails you have sent to potential employees as well as responses received. Make sure your workspace/desk is neat, tidy, and organised. At the end of the day make sure its all tidy for the next day.
2. Music – low level music can help you reduce noise and distractions and help you stay on task longer.
3. Drink up – keep a water bottle at your desk as drinking not only keeps you hydrated but boosts your energy. Aim to drink 2 litres a day.
4. Leave your Desk for Lunch – get some exercise, go for a walk, do something different but energetic after lunch if you want to keep focused and working on looking for work after lunch.
5. Keep it Professional – keep personal and job hunting times separate. This includes phone calls and emails
Don’t forget to look at last week’s video also and enjoy the learning as you look for and get that job!
Until next time,
Enjoy the journey!
