Interview Questions - Part 2
Friday, May 9, 2014Today on Lets Get Working I would like to continue our focus on how to answer interview questions. Today we will look at:
“What are your Strengths?”“What are your Weaknesses?”I guess it is a lot easier to talk about you strengths, then it is to talk about your weaknesses, especially when you are trying to sell yourself at an interview.
When talking about your strengths its important to talk about your skill set or your character.
For example:
I have very good maths skills and I always double check by calculating in my mind what the cash register says to give as change.
I am never cranky at work and my happy, confident personality will be an asset to your business as I work with your customers.
Talking about your weaknesses is a little bit harder as it is really important to share a weakness, but then turn it into a positive.
For example:
One of my weaknesses is that I am stubborn, but I see this as an asset as I will not give up on a difficult task until I have completed it, no matter how hard it is.
I am not very good with my spelling, but I am working on this by reading more and writing in a journal.
Until next time,
Enjoy the journey!
Martha!
