Interview questions - Part 1
Friday, May 2, 2014Today on Lets Get Working I’d like to start a series on interview question that will continue on for a few weeks.
More often than not the first question that is asked of you is:
“Tell me about yourself?”It is important to remember that the answer needs to be a professional one.
It is a good idea to talk about your previous experience and how it can relate to the job you are applying for.Your skills and qualifications that would suit the job.Your character traits that would benefit the business.For example:
I have worked in the clothing industry as a retail assistant and moved up to being a team leader.
While at this job I completed a Certificate III in retail and I believe that the theory I learnt and put into practice on the job aided my ability to communicate well with my staff (team), as well as understand customers and listening to what they are looking for.
I noticed repeat business from a lot of my customers due to my bubbly personality, happy nature, dedication and hard work.
I believe that your bad mood should be left at home and that customers expect and deserve happy, positive service.
