Keeping Your Job
Friday, August 23, 2013Today on Lets Get Working I would like to discuss how you can keep your job once you have it.
Firstly – attendance is important as it shows your reliability to your job. If you take plenty of time off you will not be seen as reliable and someone else has to do your job while you are away which may lead to resentment.
Secondly – it is important to stay motivated in your job by saying yes to new tasks and giving them a go.
Thirdly – its also a good idea to participate in training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Fourthly – it’s important to stay motivated and get involved in extra-curricula activities so you become part of the team.
It is so important to keep your pulse on the feedback your manager gives you so that you can correct issues as they arise.
If you are having issues at work talk to your family and friends and if they can’t help you, talk to your supervisor.
Until next time,
Enjoy the journey!
