Today on Lets Get Working I would like to wrap up a few things by grouping together some tips and tricks for getting that job.

Tip 1 – It is really important to research the job you are applying for
Find out about the organisation, the workplace culture and the structure of the company. Search the internet for info on the business. Know the job you are applying for and how it can benefit your career.

Tip 2 – Make your resume stand out
Sell yourself well. Make sure your resume is easy to read with no errors.

Tip 3 – Know your strengths and weaknesses
Sell your skills and abilities on your resume and in your interview.

Tip 4 – Personal referees
Make sure your referees say good things about you and that they add value to the position you are going for.

Tip 5 – Turn up early to your interview
Be 30 minutes early – this shows you are keen, organised and able to meet deadlines.
